About

Welcome to StayWellGo

Hi there! I’m glad you found your way here. StayWellGo is a health and wellness blog I started because I got tired of health advice that felt cold, clinical, or just plain overwhelming. Whether you’re trying to sleep better, eat smarter, move more, or just feel like yourself again — this is the place for clear, approachable information.

Who’s Behind This Blog?

My name is Kisang Yu, and I’m the founder and writer of StayWellGo. I want to be upfront with you: I’m not a doctor, nurse, or licensed healthcare professional, and I will never pretend to be. I’m an independent health writer who spends a great deal of time reading peer-reviewed research, comparing guidance from reputable health organizations, and turning it into plain-English articles that busy people can actually use.

I started this blog after my own frustrating experience trying to make sense of confusing, contradictory health information online. I know how exhausting that search can be — and that’s exactly why every article here aims to be honest about what the evidence says, what’s still uncertain, and what’s mostly marketing hype.

What You’ll Find Here

StayWellGo covers six main areas of everyday wellness:

  • Fitness & Exercise — Practical movement and exercise guidance for all levels, from beginners to seniors. No gym membership required.
  • Nutrition & Diet — Evidence-based eating guidance without the fad-diet nonsense. Think whole foods, balance, and sustainability.
  • Mental Health — Stress management, anxiety reduction, and the mind-body connection explained in ways you can actually use.
  • Natural Remedies — Honest breakdowns of home remedies and natural approaches — including when they help and when they don’t.
  • Sleep & Recovery — Sleep science made simple, with realistic strategies for better rest and recovery.
  • General Health — Everything else that helps you live better: prevention, healthy aging, and everyday wellbeing.

My Editorial Approach

Articles on StayWellGo are researched against peer-reviewed studies and guidance from reputable health organizations such as the WHO, NIH, CDC, and major academic medical centers. I try to give you the full picture — what the science supports, what’s mixed, and what’s overhyped. I don’t accept payment to recommend specific products, and there are currently no sponsored posts or affiliate links on this site.

I also review and update older articles over time, because health science moves fast and outdated information can genuinely cause harm.

A Note on Medical Advice

Nothing on this site is a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. I write to inform and to help you ask better questions — not to diagnose or treat. If you have a health condition or any concerning symptoms, please work with a qualified healthcare provider. See our full disclaimer for details.
